The A's continued their early-season winning streak with an 11-2 victory over the Yankees today at New Lions.

Matt pitched three innings for the win, with great one-inning stints by Sterling, AK and Luke to close it out.  Overall, A's pitchers struck out 11 Yankees batters, and the defense was strong as well, highlighted by Cam's gun-out from short center field of a Yankees player trying to score in the 3rd inning.

Luke led the batting barrage, going 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBI.  Cam and Matt had two hits apiece, and Sterling and Luke scored three runs each.

The A's ran their record to 3-0, still tied atop the league standings with the mighty Phillies.
