Happy Holidays 2010

As you complete your holiday shopping, we also wanted to pass along some news weve received from Little League International.  Due to safety concerns around the speed of batted balls, Little League International is in the midst of a research effort with the University of Massachusetts (Lowell) to determine whether or not a moratorium will be placed on the use of composite 2-inch barreled baseball bats in the Little League Majors Division and below; this would impact Baseball Majors, AAA, and AA divisions within our League. They have already placed a moratorium on composite bats in the Junior League Baseball, Senior League Baseball, and Big League Baseball Divisions.  They expect to make a decision on the use of composite 2-inch barreled baseball bats by Jan. 1, 2011.  Please factor this into your shopping decisions this holiday season.
